When the Cupertino company unveiled the fourth generation Apple TV at the end of 2015, it presented us with a totally different device, such as the new leisure and entertainment center for every home that would change the way we watch television thanks to its new tvOS operating system and its application store similar to the iOS App Store.
One of the great assets of the fourth generation Apple TV is its ability to play. In the presentation we were almost fed up with seeing a chicken jumping around and dodging cars and trucks while trying to cross the road. It was a fairly simple game however, as the months passed some of the best games have been moved to Apple TV allowing a "bigger" and better experience.
Apple TV 4, also a game center
During the last almost year and a half, the Apple TV App Store has been filled with applications of all kinds, some of them, honestly, little or nothing useful. Too the games available have multiplied, and not only in quantity, but also in quality. As it happened in the origins of the App Store for iPhone and iPad, the store is evolving step by step and filling with content.
During this time, fantastic new games that, from the outset, have already been launched directly for Apple TV, while other games that already had great prestige and popularity, have expanded to this device reaping similar success.
MacWorld magazine has prepared a selection of the best games for Apple TV; «15 Apple TV games you should absolutely play» (or «15 games for Apple TV that you should play), a very good selection that I now bring you to Soy de Mac so that, if you are one of those who enjoy playing, you can make the most of your device.
Alto's Adventure
One of the most prestigious games in recent years.
Join Alto and his friends and embark on an endless snowboarding odyssey. Travel through beautiful Alpine hills, ancient forests, and abandoned ruins.
Along the way, you'll be able to rescue wild flames, grind rooftops, jump over terrifying ravines, and taunt the mountain elders as you battle the changing elements and the passing of time on the mountain.
Chameleon Run
A maximum speed game in which you must only walk on the platforms that are the same color as your character. Luckily, you can change that color, but you have to be very very fast.
Crossy Road
Crossy Road It is the game I alluded to at the beginning of this post, the one used during the presentation of the fourth generation Apple TV. It is a game based on simplicity, but enormously addictive that gets more and more difficult as you progress through levels.
