2013 MacBook Airs have a screen problem

If there is a team that has ostensibly improved the role of its predecessor, that is clearly this year's MacBook Air model with its near stratospheric battery capacity.

However, he continues to suffer from more and more problems. The last one that has appeared is not exactly something "passable", since from what it seems, the computer screen shuts down without warning and intermittently but without going to sleep or anything like that as the audio continues to play.

In technical support forums Apple has already been creating a pretty long thread on this issue and from what you can see, it is not precisely one or two computers that are affected with this problem since there are many users reporting the same problem. http://www.youtube.com/watch? v = BRB0fkrVIF8 If you are experiencing these same problems shown in video, it's best to do some checking before contacting Apple. That is why we are going to first reset the PRAM of the equipment, turning it off first and leaving the ALT + CMD + P + R keys while we press the Power button until we hear the computer turn on and the screen turn black to start again almost instantly, in this way we will know that it has been done correctly.

If this has no effect, as we have explained yesterday in another entry, we can try reset the power management system or SMC to try to eradicate the problem. If after all there is no solution or we do not see it clearly, it is best to contact Apple to enforce the warranty and have the defective equipment repaired or replaced.

This problem has appeared after Apple released a stability patch for these MacBook Air where a similar problem with the screen and Adobe programs was solved.

Thank you. Excellent help. It improved but I am left wondering if everything is about software or a hardware error.

Technical service and they have not solved anything, I have a video of the error and soon I will upload it and explain how bad it is
    That they have treated me.

I have had problems since I bought the machine. First that of the screen, then the magsafe, for which I had to take it to another neighboring country since they no longer brought the spare part here, then now the screen again. I used the computer very little and when I asked for help on mac they offered to buy another one and leave it there, as if it had been free! A disaster, my first experience with Mac and a great disappointment, I have not been able to use the machine even to work since it has not worked correctly for more than a slight period of time. I need help!

Good morning, do you know there is an updated patch for this problem? I bought the machine last year and at the end of the warranty the problem that appears in the video began to occur. I am from Argentina, I bought the macbook in Australia and accessing local technical support is not cheap or easy. Any updated help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm about to buy a 2013g / 256g Mac book Air 8 in Vancouver, is this problem very common? Do you think that just the new Sierra update is enough in case you have this problem?
    Thank you

The first step was very useful for me, it asked me to restore from time machine or reinstall the OS. regards

This problem keeps happening to me, from the first months of purchase, even following all the instructions and having contacted Apple ... The only thing left is to take it to technical service.
