As Apple keeps trying to expand its PayPal electronic payments service, the Cupertino guys keep reaching out to agreements with more banks to join this new way of paying. At the moment Apple has increased the number of American banks that already allow users to add their credit and debit cards to Apple Pay in order to use the Apple Watch or iPhone to pay for purchases. But in this new update of the website where all the banks compatible with Apple Pay are shown, a new bank in Australia has also been added, HSBC.

  • Bank of Cashton
  • Bank of New Mexico
  • BankStar Financial
  • Central National Bank & Trust Company

The expansion of Apple Pay is being slower than what many users expect and it seems that the fault is not only Apple, but that banks are the first that are not willing to share their card income with third parties, in addition to not leaving completely abandon the NFC payment technology along with the dedicated applications that have been developed in recent years, even if their use is minimal. These problems would give credibility to the possible launch of an Apple credit or debit cardIn such a way that it would not depend on any bank to be able to launch this service in all the countries where Apple currently has a presence.
