When just a little over a month has passed since the launch of the fourth generation Apple TV, currently the tvOS App Store already has more than 2600 compatible applications with the platform, which confirms the growing interest of skinners to bet on this platform, although today some of the favorite games of many users such as Modern Combat 5 or Real Racing 3 are still missing.
At the moment, one of the most representative games of luxury car racing, Asphalt 8, is available in the app store for tvOS from day one, being one of the games that Apple used in the presentation of this fourth generation device for content consumption via streaming.
The growth rate of the App Store for tvOS improves every day, and currently the number of applications that are uploaded each week this platform currently reaches 500 applications, which are quickly monitored by Apple so that they are quickly available to the public without taking too long.
Most applications available las we can find for 0,99 euros, a price similar to that of many applications for iOS. If we also add the number of applications that are below three euros, the number of applications represents 85% of the total of the App Store for tvOS.
Contrary to what happens with the iOS app store, where many applications are available for download for free but with in-app purchases, on Apple TV 40% of the applications are paid, a percentage much higher than the number of apps available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
As I have commented, for now we can still miss the odd interesting game, but it should be assumed that it should not take long to be compatible with tvOS, since the changes that the programmer must make are purely aesthetic and exclusively affect the user interface.
