In recent months, Netflix shares have seen a decline due to the slowdown in subscriber growth compared to previous years, probably because it is already available in all countries where it can be (Netflix is not available in countries with United States embargoes).
However, Piper Jaffray claim that the threat that both Disney + and Apple TV + could pose to Netflix is not consistent and they assure that the future forecasts of Netflix are very optimistic. In the latest survey carried out by this medium, we can see how 3 out of 4 Netflix subscribers do not have the slightest intention of hiring the new streaming video services from Apple and Disney.
While it is true that Disney has a wide catalog of titles and sagas (Star Wars, Marvel ...) none of them are recently created, that is, it has not been released yet. Most of the content that we will be able to find in Disney's streaming video service has already been seen although, of course, it is also working on new original products like Apple.
However, with Apple TV + the opposite happens, since Apple is working exclusively on offer original content. In this service we will not find, at least initially, old television series or movies to expand its catalog.
This survey reflects the intentions of current Netflix users to-day todayand taking into account the catalog they offer. It will be curious to see in a year if these figures have varied, both up and down.
