A few weeks ago we told you about the probabilities that existed that Apple was involved with the production of a new Apple Thunderbolt Display at 4K resolution that seems necessary for the new Mac Pro.
We are already in December and the launch of the new Mac Pro is imminent. However those of Cupertino have not commented on the matter regarding possible new screens, anticipating other manufacturers.
Yesterday, the Dell company announced that it was launching new monitors with a 4K resolution to be able to use them with that new Mac Pro. The screen that Dell has 32 inches and it is already available for purchase since yesterday. There are other diagonals such as 24 inches that will be available from December 16 and one of 28 inch which is delayed until early January 2014.
The resolution of these new monitors reach a resolution 3840 x 2160 pixel Ultra HD.
We are excited to announce Ultra High Definition monitors in sizes and prices that will be compelling for customers looking for the highest resolution. Today's announcement reinforces Dell as a leader in innovation by making the latest monitor technologies available to everyone, regardless of usage or budget.
Prices move from $ 1399 for the diagonal of 24 until the 3499 for the diagonal of 32. Now we just have to wait and see if Apple moves tab and displaces all manufacturers with the long-standing new 4K Thunderbolt Displays.
To end the post we should make a reflection, and that is that if Apple really brings out a Thunderbolt Display at 4k with diagonals of 24 and 32, new iMac Retina of those sizes would go behind, stopping selling the 21,5 and 27 and going to the measures 24 and 32 inches. Don't you think Is that why they are delaying the launch of new screens, because they do not want to launch a new iMac now?
