Coinciding with the reservation period for the new Apple TV 4k, the guys from Cupertino have begun to offer the films of the studios that have reached an agreement with Apple, where Disney is not, in this format, in addition to offering the films we had already acquired in HD format in 4k at no cost to the user, a move that we have to thank Apple, since they will have fought with the production companies to get it.
The update has begun to be implemented for all clients, although it will not be launched for all clients immediately, but will do so in the coming days. All major studios cwith the exception of Disney have so far signed an agreement with Apple to offer 4K content.
Not only does 4K video on Apple TV quadruple the current HD pixel count, but High Dynamic Range decoder also allows you to obtain more detailed images and more intense colors. The entire Apple TV interface (including its screensavers) has been reconfigured for 4K, and is compatible with the industry-standard HDR10 and Dolby Vision profiles, thus covering the two most widely used formats in the industry.
Apple TV 4k is available in two storage formats: 32GB and 64GB. The 32 GB model is priced at 199 euros while the 64 GB model reaches 219 euros. While the 32GB model is immediately available for shipping, 64GB model will not be available for 2-3 weeks.
