5 years without our visionary Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs

It has rained a lot since Apple stopped having Steve Jobs among its ranks, its creator and visionary. As every year we stop to remember a person who, although for many he was the greatest known tyrant, for others he has not ceased to be the father of consumer computing. His eagerness to change the world brought him many problems to the point that they took away what he loved most, Apple itself. As we all know, some time later he was recruited again and that is when Apple becomes what we know today or, at least, in something that still remains and that is that there are things that with the departure of Jobs have been lost.

Today marks 5 years of the death of Jobs. He died of a cancer that he had been fighting for years and despite a transplant and numerous therapies in his last months of life, nothing could be done for Steve Jobs, a character that will never be forgotten. Today we want to pay tribute and remember him and it is that every time I see it in certain product presentations I keep getting excited about the images.

One of the images in this article It is a painting that I have made to have a memory of yours, a table in which you can see how the iPhone evolved, that great device that continues to reap successes and that Jobs guided on the right track. If you do not remember, 5 years ago the iPhone 4S was presented, a device that improved the iPhone 4 but that many of us knew would be the last with Steve Jobs among us. Just one day after the presentation of the same we knew the fatal news that we did not finish believing ... Steve Jobs had died.  I've only written three paragraphs and it's been three times that my hairs stand on end remembering it ...

Despite his illness, Apple's machinery was still well oiled and they could not afford to have it was left without a "commander" and for that reason, some time before, Steve Jobs himself began to instruct his successor, the current CEO Tim Cook. They were both like flesh and blood and we are sure that if Jobs set his sights on Cook it was because he saw in him a worthy successor. However, it did not take long for everyone to begin to compare both characters and Cook was not the visionary we all expected although he has allowed Apple to earn much more money than with Jobs.

The iPhone has been the device that most dazzled the visionary and in 2007, after multiple problems, he announced in a Keynote that we were all very nervous about the device that was going to change our lives. We leave you with that moment:

Another great launch was the arrival of the iPad in 2010, although we later learned that the first thing they devised was the iPad and that the iPhone had been a small version of that device, it also made the foundations of technology shake:

We could spend lines and lines talking about the endearing CEO Steve Jobs, but what we really want is to remember him and for readers to surf the net to see again those unforgettable moments with Jobs ... the presentation of the Mac mini, the arrival of the first MacBook Air that I took out of an envelope, the presentation of the mythical iPod Classic or the arrival of iTunes and its songs for 1 dollar.  DEP Steve jobs.

A genius like few others. Apple to this day is still the best, but I partly miss that stage. I love seeing him in videos of old presentations. It was cool.
