With the arrival of the new Apple TV 4, streaming services for series and movies have also become popular, although they have already existed for a long time, such as renting movies through iTunes, other services such as Netflix, one of the most famous in the US.

Although the arrival of this platform has been quite an event in our country, it seems that like everything in life, nothing is 100% secure and many of the accounts that have multiple users registered they could have been hacked and later sold on the Internet.

The security company McAfee Labs revealed that you can access the purchase of these accounts in the "Dark web" marketplaces, which can only be accessed through a "special" browser called TOR which hides the public IP address.

According to the information, these accounts are being sold at a price of 0,50 US cents. However, this is not the most serious problem, but the possibility that payment data has also been accessed.

One way to rule out that our data has been stolen is through this link, which although not definitive, will at least give us some peace of mind. Or if we notice any change in the preferences that it shows us when viewing content or if another profile of which we are not aware has been registered.

Even so, to be sure, Netflix incorporates an option to "unlink" all devices and force the password to be entered again on each one of them, so if we proceed to activate this option and change the password, at least we will be completely sure that they will not be able to use it.
