Apple's first electric car could go into production in 2020

Bloomberg Agency, one of the most controversial in relation to the news it publishes, has just stated based on rumors and different sources that Apple would be waiting to start the production of his "secret" project of electric car to start putting it into operation around 2020.

Apple would be pressuring the employees who work on the car to have it ready in approximately five years, something that clearly would be a movement to compete face-to-face with the models it can launch General Motors or Tesla itself in 2017.

Assuming that the normal development of a vehicle from the beginning of the first sketches of the project until it goes into production and finally for sale, is usually comprised in a time span of at least five to seven years, always assuming that there is no previous base model on which the new model is based, but starting from scratch the project itself.

For now, if Apple sets itself the objective of competing with these companies, it should at least achieve a range of 320 kilometers and that its price is over 35.000 euros without exceeding this threshold in any case. I place special emphasis on this point since if you really want to compete with the "giants" of the sector, it should be the guideline to follow although as we all know, Apple it is not usually governed by the guidelines dictated by the market unless there is no other option.

For now for the past few months, the company has hired employees from companies including Tesla, Ford, GM, A123 Systems, MIT Motorsports, Ogin, Autoliv, Concept Systems, and General Dynamics. Anyway it's still very much in the air and it is still an experimental project According to other sources, so if the development is not up to par, Apple could definitely abandon it.
