Apple's large customer sales channel prepares for the sale of the iMac Pro

iMac Pro for late 2017

We are all familiar with Apple's sales channel to individual or retail customers. It is the one that most of your customers know and use when we buy on the Apple website, an Apple Store or a dealer's store. But it also has two other sales channels. The first is intended for SMEs. Going to an Apple Store, specialized Apple personnel consult you about your activity and needs, to offer you products that can be very useful for your productivity. And the third channel, which is the one that concerns us today, is the Corporate Channel, aimed at large companies.

Today we have learned that, staff of the Corporate Channel, you are consulting with customers you have served to see what iMac Pro configurations they may need. they would have equipment available the same day of its launch. Apple reportedly contacted high-volume customers via email to conduct a brief survey regarding their needs. It is asked about the following parameters: storage, RAM, needs of the GPU and even about necessary peripherals.

Once Apple receives the information, provides companies with a price proposal for the equipment. Unfortunately we do not have references in this regard, but this valuable information helps customers to prepare the necessary budgets for the purchase, now that they should be closing the items for 2018.

Finally, Apple informs you that, your order could be ready by the end of this month. Apple would have all the machinery almost ready, to be released on the market in the next few days, and leave supplied to all those Apple users who, due to professional needs, may require a high-performance machine.

To date, we know that the iMac Pro will have, in addition to its characteristic black color, with: 5k screen, Vega 56 and 64 graphics, Xeon processors with up to 18 cores and SSD memory of up to 4TB. The price will be around € 4.999
