Apple expands Pride Day celebration to more cities

In recent years, Apple had always been known for limiting the celebration of Pride Day only to San Francisco, a celebration in which it actively collaborated, as did many of the company's employees, a company where diversity and equality are one of the pillars of which it has always boasted.

Much of Apple's policy has to do with the company's chief executive, Tim Cook, being gay. But it seems that Apple has wanted to take beyond the limits of San Francisco, the celebration of this day, adding to San Francisco, New York and Toronto, where Apple has been especially important in the celebrations.

Last year, Apple gave all its employees a special edition of a strap called Pride for the Apple Watch, a strap that shows us the colors of the rainbow, a strap that the company finally put on sale at the beginning of the month of June. But this year, dedicated employee straps have resulted in commemorative t-shirts of the day with the Apple logo in the colors of the rainbow, again, t-shirts that were given to all who wanted them.

In the march organized in San Francisco, Apple has placed a wall where participants can leave their signature as they have participated. At the top of this wall, symbolic, we find the hashtag applepride, again made in the colors of the rainbow. In deference to previous years, the guys from Cupertino have not posted any video celebrating this event, something that had become a regular move by Apple. We do not know if he plans to launch it in a few days or this year they have decided to spend the budget on the shirts that they have given to all attendees at the celebrations.
