We are at the doors of the month of August and the Mojave betas should begin to be very refined, when there is approximately a month and a half left until the final version of the first Apple software that has a complete dark mode as standard is presented.
This fifth beta is introduced two weeks later than fourth beta when a long month has passed since the introduction of the following operating system for Mac. This time we found a novelty when installing the beta in a simpler way.
We can access the beta download from the menu bar and clicking on "About This Mac". There you will find the option: Software update. But update is also available from System Preferences - Software Update.
In beta 5 we find new wallpapers, becoming one of the great novelties of macOS Mojave. These new funds They are specially designed for the contrast that Mojave will offer us with light and dark backgroundsas well as the range between them. Among the new backgrounds, we find certain abstract lines, a flower background, as well as images used in the promotion of macOS Mojave. You will find the wallpapers in System Preferences, as found in current versions of macOS.
Along with these developments, we continue to find advances in Mojave news, such as the new app store, iOS-style, with suggestions by theme. We find new tools for Safari, among them new functions for the protection and creation of passwords.
Other relevant novelties of Mojave, is the full introduction of Dark mode, which changes the hue of the desktop as the day progresses. In this sense, we still do not have versions of applications such as Pages, Numbers or Keynote adapted to dark mode. Finally, we find the option Stacks, to group the files on our desktop into stacks of the same type: PDF, images or another type of file.
We hope to see the Mojave version fully debugged for next September.
Since I installed this latest version, I have problems starting the computer, announcing half the time that you must install a critical update to be able to use the computer ... And it wastes me a lot of time each time ... Crap ...
