Yesterday Apple presented the fiscal results of the four-month period, reporting that they have had a profit of 7.700 million dollars, a chilling figure for any mortal worth their salt. In addition, Tim Cook spoke of several topics that can be emphasized in the number of companies that the company with the bitten apple has bought in the last four months.
Many analysts have been perplexed by the number of companies acquired without anyone knowing about their purchase. This makes a lot of sense and is that Apple has its own internal operating rules and they do not randomly buy companies or look for those that are a sensation at a certain moment. They buy what they have studied that they should buy.
Each of the companies that Apple acquires are nothing more than those that they believe will be able to help them get what they have on their roadmap. If, faced with a certain product idea, company X, Y and Z have developers and material that they believe will help the launch and monopoly of it, Apple buys it and they become part of the leading company par excellence.
The companies that have become part of Apple are Beats Electronics, the most famous, the company SnappyLabs, the manufacturer of micro-LEDs LuxVue, the traffic data company Embark, HopStop,Locationary, the developer of the notes app catch, the company BroadMap, Burstly, Spotsetter, Spotsetterm, WiFiSlam y Novaurs among others.
Tim Cook announced that 29 companies have been bought of which we only have evidence of thirteen of them and that we do not count the very sound purchase of Beats. That is why, once again, we realize that Apple moves much more than we think and that it does not stop looking for innovations and as non-innovators that are dispersed by many small companies.
