Tim Cook sent an informational note to all of his employees yesterday telling them that those who are still telecommuting from home they will return to the office in september. At least three days a week. Great news, without a doubt.

Great news because that means that we are finally winning the battle with the happy Covid-19. The United States has been one of the developed countries most affected by the pandemic, but it has also been one of the first to vaccinate a large part of its population. Apple itself is vaccinating its employees, and this allows it to announce "back to the office" today.

The Verge just posted that Tim Cook yesterday sent a memorandum to his employees, where he explained, among other things, that those who are currently teleworking from home, will return to the office in September, at least three days a week.

Despite all that we have been able to accomplish while many of us have been apart, the truth is that something essential from the past year has been missing: each other. Video calling has reduced the distance between us, no doubt, but there are things that simply cannot be replicated.

With this message the CEO of Apple has addressed to explain the reason for the return to the office. He believes that no matter how well everything has gone with videoconferencing, they can never replace face-to-face human contact, important in Teamworks.

Most employees will be asked to return to their offices the Monday, Tuesday y Thursday, with the option of telecommuting on Wednesdays and Fridays. Teams that require face-to-face work will return to the office four to five days a week.

Great news, without a doubt, because this decision is one more indication that thanks to vaccines the bliss is finally being overcome pandemic, (at least in some countries) and in a short time we will return to the normality desired by all humanity.
