Apple is forced to yield to the Chinese government and makes the passwords of its users available

Apple becomes a target of anti-us protests in China

A little less than a month ago, Apple inaugurated a new data center in China, a data center that Apple has been forced to open in the country, following the new government regulations, a regulation that requires technology companies to store their users' data in the country, as is also the case in Russia .

But it seems that it was not the only requirement of the Chinese government, since it also required that the users' keys, keys that are only available in the United States, regardless of where the user data comes from, they will find the country, a country that, by the way, has no laws related to privacy.

In this way, when the Cupertino-based company is forced to store the users' passwords in the country, the security of all data stored in the country is practically non-existent, since the authorities will be able to access them whenever they want, with whatever pretext and without having to resort to any judge, as happens in most western countries and the rest of the world.

As I have commented on more than one occasion, Apple is a company that has to make money, it is useless to raise the flag of protecting the data of its users when it is in these types of situations, situations that they force him to lower his pants at the first change, if you want to continue discussing your position in the market.

In recent years, China has become an important engine for the companyTherefore, it cannot be allowed to leave this country aside, trying to maintain its position of independence and security that it offers to all its users. At least we hope that for now it is the only country with this type of demand, since if it becomes common, many will be the users who end up setting up their own server.
