Apple plans to update its TV app for Mac

App TV

In the latest beta version of macOS Venture 13.3 Apple has "hidden" a new TV application with a sidebar similar to the one we can officially find in iPadOS.

Of course, if the company's intention was to leave it hidden in this beta to show it in a later version, it has gone wrong, since with a little trick, said application can be started, and many developers are already testing it "before time". It is clear, then, that it will soon be made official for all users in an upcoming update of macOS is coming.

The guys 9to5Mac These days they have discovered a new application for viewing Apple TV + and other video content that comes hidden in the latest beta version of macOS Ventura 13.3 for developers. and we say it comes "hidden" because it's not accessible by default, but with a little trick you can launch it and see what your new visual environment looks like.

An environment that consists of a new sidebar to navigate the application, like the one we can already see on iPads. This application has already been made official a while ago, since iPadOS 15.2.

This new sidebar it is divided into different sections to display Apple TV, Store, Library, Devices, and Playlists.

These sections are similar to the Watch Now, Apple TV+ (Originals), Store, Search, and Library tabs currently found in the app's top bar, but offer subsections for quicker navigation. The new sidebar also allows users to easily sign in with their Apple ID at the bottom left of the window.

At the moment it is not known when this new application will become official. So we'll have to wait for a next update of macOS Ventura for this.
