Apple releases second beta of macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 for developers

macOS-High-Sierra-1

Apple doesn't stop working and has released the second beta version of the upcoming macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 update for developers. It comes two weeks after the first beta version and three weeks after the macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 update was released.

This new beta of macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or via the Mac App Store software update mechanism with the appropriate profile installed.

macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 introduces support for Messages in iCloud, a feature that was already present in the macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 betas before being retired prior to the release of the update. Messages in iCloud are also available in iOS 11.4.

The update also includes bug fixes and performance improvements for issues that were not addressed in macOS High Sierra 10.13.4, but since Apple does not provide detailed release notes for macOS High Sierra updates, we may not know exactly what is included until the developers study it.

The previous macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 update brought support for external graphics processors (eGPUs) along with Business Chat in Messages and many other smaller bug fixes and feature enhancements.

We will be attentive to possible news that will appear on the network in the next few hours. If you are a developer you can now download this new beta.
