Apple stops selling 15 2015-inch MacBook Pro

Yesterday, as my colleague Javier Porcar published, Apple revamped the range of Macbook Pro laptops for both the 13 and 15-inch models and where the main novelty is found in the 15-inch model that we can configure with up to 32 GB of RAM and 6-core processor.

But it has not been the only novelty that we can observe in the renewal that Apple has carried out in the MacBook Pro range, since if we take a look at the 15-inch model, we can see how Apple has removed it from its catalog, so the only way to get a MacBook Pro is to buy the model with Touch Bar.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro refreshed in 2015 has continued to be on sale since Apple revamped the MacBook Pro range in 2016 by introducing the Touch Bar model and has continued to offer it after the in-house revamp that this range received in 2017. But it seems that we have come this far, since after the last renovation, the Cupertino-based company has removed it from its catalogTherefore, if we are interested in acquiring it, we will have to resort to authorized resellers or the second-hand market.

With the renewal of the MacBook Pro in 2016, the company removed all ports that had turned this model into an all-rounder in the market, leaving only two or four Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C ports for any type of connection, both input and output. The 2015 model offered us USB-A ports, an SD card reader, a Thunderbolt 2 connection, Mini DisplayPort, and even an HDMI port.

It is especially striking that the company did not wait until September, a month in which according to a large number of rumors, Tim Cook's company will eliminate the MacBook Air, which is still available today for sale, and offering instead a cheaper 12-inch model, which is currently under the name MacBook dry.
