Apple Watch updates will be made from the watch itself

Apple Watch Series 4

The novelties of the new watchOS 6 operating system are several and all of them important, but there is one that we really like, which is the one that offers the possibility of downloading the applications directly to the device without having to go through the iPhone, let's go your own 100% native app store. But as the days go by, more interesting news are discovered and in this sense and by having its own store for apps, the watch also has enough independence from the iPhone to update the OS directly and automatically from the device itself. This can be configured from the Settings of the device to do it automatically or manually, in any case the option appears the same as we have available in the rest of Apple devices.

In this way, when the watch detects a new update, users will have to accept it directly from the watch or let it do it automatically, an option that seems more interesting in this case. Anyway, everything will be done from the device itself and although it is true that in these first beta the system does not work right now at all well since the conditions of use are accepted from the iPhone itself and not from the watch in these beta, surely this ends up being something that is also done from the Apple Watch in the final versions.

The beta is being shelled little by little and there are not many users who dare to install this new version on the clock beyond the developers themselves, since any error in the system could leave us with a nice paperweight until the next update. In the case of watchOS, the installation of beta versions is somewhat more restricted and we cannot go back in case of major failures, so it is normal that people don't flock to your installation until the official version arrives.
