Apple Watch sales continue to lead the market according to Couterpoint Research

Counterpoint Apple Watch

Apple smart watches came to the market somewhat late but year after year they have established themselves as the best sellers and most desired by users. In this case, the new Counterpoint Research report published today in some media shows that Total smartwatch shipments during the third quarter of 2021 increased 16 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. This means that Apple is still the company that is holding the sales tug the most.

The data from Counterpoint Research show that competing companies such as Samsung have also recovered some positions during this quarter. In this case, the South Korean company is placed second on the list and others such as Huawei have lost quite a few shipments during the third quarter of 2021. Huawei is also expected due to the veto imposed by the United States on some of its products and this affects sales or rather global shipments. The research firm's senior analyst, Sujeong Lim, said:

Samsung performed better than expected in the third quarter. Although shipments of the Galaxy Watch 4 series were much higher than expected, more than 60% of total shipments were sold in North America and Europe, where the proportion of mid-to-high price range models is high. To further increase its market share, Samsung is expected to launch affordable models within 2-3 years to target the fast-growing Asian market. A third of the smartwatches sold in the third quarter of 2021 were priced below $ 100.

It seems that the Cupertino firm does not lower the pace of sales and each quarter continues to add better figures. Having a quality smart watch, a good price and with an attractive design, it seems that nowadays it can be easy to get by any technological firm but be above all in sales during each quarter It is something that is only available to a few.
