One of Apple's best-selling devices is the smartwatch that has evolved a lot since its first model. I remember that the first version was nothing more than a very nice watch that did little, apart from alerting you to messages and calls. Can you imagine that now we wear a ring in the more Apple style? The Apple Ring (or at least I can imagine its name).
The Apple Watch has evolved exponentially, to the point that it is one of the bastions of the company with endless applications and thanks to the new update, it has taken on a special importance in the field of health.
Apple Ring is currently only a patent
We have known that Apple filed a patent on a finger-worn device. What has been a ring. I have taken the audacity to name it Apple Ring. I know it's not very new, but now I know how Jony Ive himself feels, now that his face hangs on one of the most famous walls in the UK.
Apple engineers came to think of a ring-shaped device that could be worn on one finger. The Apple Ring it would have a touch screen and work closely with another terminal, often acting as an input device for him.
The patent that has been approved for the benefit of Apple, after four years, granting exclusivity in the manufacture and sale of an electronic device with a touch screen that would be worn on a finger and that would consist of a processor, a wireless transceiver, and a rechargeable power supply.
It would be seen as an alternative to a touch screen or keyboard and would even be a substitute for the mouse. The main device would send signals to Apple Ring and user could select them with a finger tap. Without actually interacting with that main terminal.
If you're wondering if Siri could be invoked, the answer is of course! This patent has included the possibility of calling Siri to order the execution of some commands and of course, receiving spoken responses.
As we always say, it is still a patent. But what do you think of the possibility that this product existed? Would you buy it?
