San José is once again the place chosen to celebrate the WWDC this year 2019. As we warned a few weeks ago after a leak of the "rental" date of the venue la Worldwide Developers Conference will take place June 3-7 in San José.
The slippage in the published reservation date made it easier for us to know in advance the place and the date of the event focused on developers. Now Apple confirms it and the 30th edition of Apple's most important event will take place at the McEnery Convention Center.
In actuality there are more than 1.400 billion devices with iOS, macOS, watchOS or tvOS, and WWDC 2019 will provide attendees with information on the future of these platforms and the opportunity to work with Apple engineers responsible for the technologies and environments used by developers. Of course, the news that we expect for the first day focused on the different OSs lead us to think about an important year, we will see if there are surprises or not.
Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing made the following statements:
WWDC is Apple's biggest event of the year. It brings together thousands of the world's most creative and dedicated developers with more than a thousand Apple engineers to learn more about the latest innovations on our platforms and connect as a community. Our developers are working hard to create a new generation of amazing experiences through apps. We really want to meet with them and discuss the future.
We look forward to the start of this event in which today through March 20 at 17:00 p.m. (Pacific time) developers can request their tickets from the WWDC website. Entries are assigned through a random selection process, and applicants will be notified of the result by March 21.
