Since Jay Z bought the music platform Tidal in 2015 and became the platform for artists unhappy with music streaming platforms, things have been getting worse and worse. In these last two years, three people have passed through the position of head of the company, the last one left the same a few months ago. Kanye West has always been creating different controversies to try to ensure that Tidal continue to have the attention of users and that they consider it when paying for a music subscription but for that to be over, since West has announced that he is leaving the platform.

Lawyers for both parties will be in contact in the next two weeks to try to reach a satisfactory agreement for both parties.
According to Kanye West, the exclusive release of his latest album allowed the company to attract 1,5 million new subscribers, something that seems very strange considering that the latest subscriber figures suggest that Tidal would have just over 3 million subscribers of payment. Being Kanye West in on it more than likely this is a move designed to regain media attention and get people to talk about Tidal again, at least it looks like it is knowing the past of this singer.
