The Chinese manufacturer E-Stary announces the availability for the Asian giant of a clone of Apple's new ultralight, a whole Macbook Air (in the Chinese style). According to information from the manufacturer, the HY118, the name of the "toy", is made of a single piece of aluminum, magnesium alloy and anodized aluminum for finishing.
The HY118 retains the screen size of the original at 11,6 inches and high definition HD resolution (1.366 x 768 pixels). But instead of the Core 2 Duo of the Air, the Chinese clone has a low-end mic, an Atom N455 at 1,66 GHz, 1 Gbyte of DDR2 memory, integrated graphics and a 160 Gbyte hard drive.
The Mac OS X has been replaced by a Windows XP and the autonomy drops by half although its price can compensate for all the above, only 186 Euros for a Chinese Macbook Air that we assume and we regret that it is not distributed outside the country.
