Every time a hardware manufacturer releases a new device to the market, software developers are forced to update their software to try to take advantage of the new functionality. The launch of the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar has been a new challenge for software developers, since it has seen how Apple has launched the Touch Bar an OLED touch screen that allows us to obtain extra information from the applications we usually use. 1Password one of the most used applications in macOS was one of the first to be updated. Now it is the turn of Fantastical 2, an application that allows us to manage our calendar in a fantastic way (as the name suggests). This developer also offers this application for the iOS ecosystem.

Fantastical 2 for macOS Sierra, has just received a new update reaching version 2.3.1, including a large number of improvements and new functionalities, but the one that attracts the most attention is the one that offers support for the Touch Bar of the new MacBook Pro. Once we run the application, andThe Touch Bar will allow us to scroll through the days, weeks, months or years in a much faster way than if we had to do it through the mouse or with our keyboard.

If we click on a specific day, the Touch Bar will show us all the information related to the event in question as well as offering us different options among which we find the possibility of being able to edit, delete, delay it ... At the moment it seems that the developers of Fantastical have not been able to take full advantage of this touch bar, although considering that it is a calendar application, we cannot ask the elm for pears.

    Okay, we can't ask too much of an app that's just calendar and reminders. But for that very reason, it is a tremendous theft that someone has to pay such a price for a calendar and reminder app. The entire macOS system is packed with features and totally free, to mention a simple comparison.
    I do not recommend anyone to pay for this, no matter how "fantastic" they want us to believe it is.
