Fantastical 2 is updated with support for the Apple Watch and other news on Mac

Fantastical 2-mac-calendar-0

Perhaps the best calendar and reminder app on Mac and iOS has just been updated to support the latest Apple device, which could not be other than the Apple Watch. The new version of Fantastical 2.0.6 basically tries to integrate a list with the alerts and your entire agenda within the Apple Watch itself and that in this way we can easily access all our daily planning at a glance.

Besides this it is also possible add new events from the watch, you just have to enter, for example, “Buy milk and juice” or “Write article for SoydeMac» at a certain time and the system will remind you at that time. Likewise, if your device supports dictation, we can complete the event or reminder with more details and Fantastical 2 will take care of the rest.

On the other hand we also have general news in Fantastical 2 for all other platforms, including the following:

  • Added popup calendar when editing start and end dates
  • Added time picker to quickly choose an end time when editing an event
  • Added timezone dropdown menu (when timezone override is on)
  • Quickly browse through detected guests by pressing Command + Shift + I when adding an event (type in a phrase like "Lunch with John" and then press Command + Shift + I)
  • Event creation from OmniFocus now includes a URL that it sends back to OmniFocus
  • Event creation from Mail now includes a URL that sends back to Mail
  • Various fixes and improvements

Its price on Mac both on the developer's website and on the Mac App Store is 39,99 Euros.
