Tired of the virtual keyboard of the iPad? The new Smart keyboard for the iPad Pro arrives

The iPad has always seemed like a device very oriented to the consumption of multimedia content with certain touches oriented both to the level of productivity and the artistic with some interesting drawing application, but I have never really considered it a work tool since there were many aspects that with the finger (without a stylus) or without a dedicated keyboard, they could not be carried out.

However now with the appearance of this iPad Pro, its increase in the screen diagonal up to 12,9 ″ and an obvious improvement in everything concerning the world of work, it may be able to gain a foothold in a very specific market niche within companies and power users.

Having said that, the accessory for this device that perhaps most caught my attention, not because of its originality (since it is a copy in a way of what the Microsoft Surface already has), but because it was something that was made already almost mandatory, is the smart keyboard, which next to Apple Pencil they create a set that multiplies the possibilities of this "giant" iPad.

Specifically, this smart keyboard is a hybrid between the smart cover and the keyboard for Microsoft Surface, the difference is that Apple has used the smart cover both to cover the screen and to support the ipad when we have to write on one unique position, unlike in Microsoft that integrated a tab on the Surface itself with different angles of support and using the keyboard as a cover in addition to two different positions to grip the device.

Returning to the smart keyboard and leaving aside the comparisons that are always obnoxious, the price it will have when it goes on sale in November it will be $ 169 although I am very afraid that here in Spain, we will not see it for less than 179 Euros to change.
