Signs of Apple News found in latest macOS Mojave beta

macOS Mojave

The developers who are working with the beta released by Apple last Monday, macOS Mojave 10.14.4 that Soy de Mac We tell you, they have found evidence of a Apple News on macOS. Specifically, they have received notifications about new publications of the service, which shows a version of Apple News in the final version of macOS Mojave 10.14.4.

In principle these notifications will be shown only in countries where Apple News offer service, therefore, except in USA. and soon in Canada, these notifications should not appear when the service is not activated. The date of commissioning of the service in Europe is unknown.

Apple users await more information about the services available in the keynote scheduled for the next March 25. Apple News is likely to be one of the main services the guys from Cupertino will introduce us to. Digging deeper into the Apple News service within the macOS Mojave betas, we see signs of the new service. That is why we will probably see the final version of macOS Mojave 10.14.4 at the end of the month, as we anticipated in the fifth beta of this version.

Developer Steve Troughton-Smith has shared through his account in Twitter a selection of screenshots, where we observe certain notifications that show the service, as well as the links to future URLs from service. The same developer advises that versions of Apple News are shown in PDF, as we have in many iPad magazine services. If so, we can save the magazines in offline mode, for consultation outside a Wi-Fi network. Finally, you have detected that this service is already fully written in Swift.

We will be attentive to any news regarding the Apple News service that Apple may show us before the day of the keynote on March 25. Most likely, Apple will present us with new hardware, such as new iPad, AirPods, AirPower or in the last hours an iPod touch.
