Sharp becomes the property of Foxconn and thus available to Apple

After months of negotiations, an agreement has finally been reached regarding the million-dollar purchase that the Foxconn company has made. The Chinese assembler of electronic devices par excellence has succeeded in taking over the company Sharp, company that as far as Apple is concerned was in charge of manufacturing the screens of different apple products.

Now the question that arises is how this millionaire purchase will affect Apple itself and that is that those from Cupertino invested a lot of money in Sharp at the time so that it was that company that supplied them with screens.

The Chinese assembly company Foxconn has managed to buy, for a total of 6.200 billion dollars, the well-known Sharp. This purchase has been very popular and that is why we are not caught by surprise. The purchase of Sharp becomes the largest acquisition made by a foreign investor of a Japanese company.

However, we cannot say that this purchase was easy and, as we have already told you, it is not very usual for a Japanese company to become the property of another foreign company. We can tell you that a consortium called Innovation Network Corporation, made up of companies like Sony, Toshiba and Hitachi, They have also struggled to get Sharp, without succeeding.

We would be talking that the Innovation Network Corporation consortium has not been able to face the debts that Sharp dragged, thing that has been able to cover those of Foxconn with the millionaire profits that they obtain with clients like Apple.

Now we will have to wait and know what Apple's movements are going to be, and now is when the screens of both the iDevices and the Mac could improve considerably we could finally have OLED technology at Apple. It should be borne in mind that this technology could improve the life of the batteries of the devices and, of course, the resolution and colors of the same.
