Evidently that it is not an easy task to carry out and not all users would dare to disassemble a machine that has a base price of 3.049 euros and consequently voiding the warranty of the powerful computer. But there are many people who do not have problems to get ahead and start with the mess of this desktop to add a more powerful processor.
Access to the machine's RAM memory is simple and anyone can add or remove modules because it does not have any complications, but when we talk about the computer processor they are already bigger words (at least for me) and in this video we will see that if it is possible to make this modification but I do not think it is within reach of all.
In this first video that appears on the internet of how to change the processor of the powerful Mac Pro, we see the user add a 10-core Intel Xeon E5 2690v2 processor that replaces the one that originates from your 6-core machine. This processor that we see installed in this Mac Pro, has an approximate price of 2.000 dollars that is about 1.500 euros. Apple asks for 8 euros for the configuration with an 1.500-core processor and 3.000 for the 12-core processor, therefore the savings are considerable but I do not know to what extent it compensates for the issue of loss of warranty to upgrade the machine yourself.
I personally believe that if we have a company and we are going to profit from the machine thanks to the work it does, I would not risk it and would directly request the customized version to my liking.
