It is a powerful team with finishes "made in Apple" so we are clear that the price is what it is and the features of the team are powerful. Apple insists in its advertising on the web that this is a MacBook Pro by and for professionals as we can read directly on the web:

Very pro. In any profession.

The new MacBook Pro redefines the meaning of power and portability. No matter where your inspiration takes you: with high-performance processors, advanced graphics, and next-generation storage, you can shape any idea in record time.

It is logical that the firm shows us its claims with this new MacBook Pro, but we also have to talk (at another time) about an important issue such as RAM of maximum 16GB in all models (starting in (GB or 13 inches) Obviously this can also influence the professional sector since although it is true it is a good amount of RAM, I do not understand very well why they do not allow a maximum of 32GB to be mounted even though they are not necessary for everyone ...

Hi, I have a 15 ”MacBook Pro Retina from mid-2012, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD, and I don't see any reason to switch to this model.
The fact that it mounts Radeon and a maximum of 16GB of RAM does not help.
The Magsafe thing bothers me but hey can always be remedied with an accessory.

Not even thinking about it, I will continue with my MacBook Pro 2012 which cost me an arm and a leg, in Mexico everything from Apple is very expensive.

This year I bought a MacBook 12 retina to replace an Air. I doubt that in the short term it will change again, although with a Pro the experience is always remarkable I do not think I will change it

Apple through the roof, so few will renew. It is becoming a luxury item again, it has already happened other times and they entered a bad time, maximum luxury, and in these times.

I work in the audiovisual area and the MacBook Pro is my work tool, I still have the last generation MacBook with a DVD drive, the machine pays for itself, it is for work, not for viewing only social networks, it would be great if the price were a few hundred dollars less but heyooo.

I see a limitation not being able to install 32 GB of RAM, this will be an impediment to buy it, I have an iMac with 16 GB and when I work with the programs I need I run out of it.
I don't understand what the technical problem is for Apple to offer a model with this configuration.

It no longer lights up, it is no longer the same. If there is no lighting in the hand it is an external pc

I am very fond of photography, I have a Macbook Pro Retina mid 2014, with which I am very happy and whose USB and SD ports I use daily, so it seems like a big step back that Apple has eliminated them in its new bet . It is of no use to me that they sell me a "thinner and lighter" computer (which for all practical purposes will be the same) if that extra portability is negated by the need to always carry adapters for everything. It has neither head nor tail.

A MacBook Pro is supposed to be a computer ready for a professional environment. I have a 15-inch MacBook Pro Retina and I use the SD reader, USB ports and HDMI output every day, this laptop will honestly be very thin but when transporting it it will weigh more than all because having to carry 5 or 6 different adapters with you.
I would not buy it for a joke and less with that piece of price.

    No, definitely not.

I had a 2015-inch MBP 13 that ended up changing for a 2012 MBP (the radiology service sent me everything on DVD) and I do not think it is worth migrating, since medical apps for patients are fluid, the photographic material of patients is the same .

If it were to migrate, it would return to the 2015 models, or failing that, a Macbook.

I am not an expert. On Sept 9 I just bought the Macbook Pro 15 Retina at AppStore Mex and I even upgraded the processor and flash drive to 1 TB. I was disappointed to learn that Mac released this new one 2 weeks later. Do you think the new one would have suited me or this one? I have read that it no longer has certain ports (especially usb) and the apple does not turn on ???? I would like your opinion and perhaps it will comfort me to hear from you.

Another question where doubt arises. This 15-inch MacBook pro retina you buy gobbles up your battery. By far, it does not give the hours that Apple says. Having this illuminated bar on the keyboard I imagine it will impact the drums. Anyone who would like to comment on this?

I'm doubting, I have a MacBook from early 2008 and it's time to renew. If you are looking for advice in the Store, the boys tell you that it is better to buy the new one, which is not the same components from years ago as those from now ... if you had to renew yes or yes, what would you buy?
