Intel's Tiger Lake processors that no Mac will mount

Apple Silicon means the end of Intel

At WWDC 2020, Tim Cook announced that Apple was ready to use its own processors later this year. Apple silicon it will be a clear reality in a few months. Meanwhile, Macs continue to mount processors from the Intel company. This one is already announcing the benefits of Tiger Lake processors. Some processors that most likely will not be mounted on any Mac although Intel seems to still have hope.

With Apple Silicon's Tim Cook ad up and running in a few months and with full expansion in two years, the different voices of Intel were quick to say that although the cooperation between both companies could be coming to an end, it must be taken into account that will remain linked by all Macs that they have processors of the brand and because it is likely that some of the new ones can still be used in the following Macs.

But this possibility is difficult to occur because if the introduction of Apple Silicon occurs later this year, it would coincide with the launch of the Tiger Lake. Apple is not going to bother to create new Mac models with these processors knowing that in a maximum of two years you must declare them obsolete by the full acceptance of Apple Silicon.

The Tiger Lake processors are wonderful. Apple must be attentive to this move to avoid falling into mediocrity. Intel prepares faster processors with lower costs and better heat management. This means that it will perform better in terms of performance than your graphics from generation 11 and earlier, as it is capable of operating at higher frequencies and with better performance at the same voltage. Alternatively, it can also provide performance comparable to the previous generation when using less power.
