It's been a year. When and how will Photoshop for iPad arrive?

A year ago, Apple officials announced that a fully functional version of Photoshop would be presented throughout 2019. Adobe have just over two and a half months to fulfill their promise and at the moment we do not know anything about the program.

I will not be the one to criticize the Adobe. But of course you are going to allow me to tell you that lately they are not showing off. With macOS Catalina, they have had quite a few inconveniences and a year later we don't know anything about its most mobile application.

Photoshop for iPad, is being asked.

One of the excuses that I told myself to renew my iPad was that during this year 2019, Photoshop was going to release an almost identical version of its PC program for the Apple tablet. In this way, Apple's premise could be fulfilled, which says that you don't need a computer.

Since October 2018, we have heard next to nothing from the Adobe program. Now we find out that apparently the version of the program will be ready before the end of the year. However, it will not have all the functionalities that it was initially thought to have.

Some lucky ones were invited in August, by Adobe, to test a beta version of the program. These have stated that the test version is quite incomplete and have even declared that it is less than Affinity, who is doing things right. Scott Belsky, Product Manager for Adobe's Creative Cloud division, said they are working hard with Apple to deliver a powerful app for iPad users.

The key features of Photoshop CC such as filters, pencil tool, custom brush libraries, vector drawing, color spaces, RAW editing, smart objects, layer styles and options for creating masks, they will not be available on the iPad for now.
