It seems that the HomePod is starting to move and we already have the first million speakers coming out of Iventec

Inventec is one of the two Apple suppliers that manufacture the HomePod together with Hon Hai Precision Industry, and this first one would already have the first million smart speakers ready to go to Apple stores for the start of sales officially.

At the beginning of this same month of January GBH announced the possibility that Apple would launch the HomePod between 4 and 6 weeks from the beginning of the year and it is possible that these were not misguided in their predictions if this information from Iventec is true, even though the first units would already be ready to leave the factories.

The process is not as simple as taking the product out of the factory and starting to sell, that is why it is estimated that these 4-6 weeks mentioned above would finally be left in a little less time. We can not say anything officially since it is Apple who has the last word on this, but various sources claim this first million units of HomePod manufactured and launched, which is certainly a good step.

HomePod launch delays make the competition take most of the cake of this segment in which Apple launches a product. Precisely because of that product premiere, a speaker that malfunctions is not going and they continue to work so that it meets the expectations generated in its presentation.

On the other hand, it is said that the total of HomePod that Apple could need throughout 2019 to satisfy demand amounts to 10-12 million units, a figure that is well above what we have on the table right now if it is true. In short, you have to keep an eye on the news and hope that the delay in the official launch is not too long.
