A few days ago we were talking about xMac Pro Server, a new accessory that allowed us to provide more functionalities to our new Mac's Pro, new connections and memory improvements that allowed us to have an even more powerful Mac Pro, of course, giving up its brand new design since it forced us to 'embed' the new Mac Pro in a container rack of all these new features.
Now LaCie, the leading brand in device storage, presents us with three solutions designed for all the storage that professional 4K video editing needs, solutions that also connect to our Mac's via Thunderbolt 2 so they already warn us of the high transfer rates that we will have with these devices.
One of the first solutions they present is a rack with capacity of up to eight hard drives (at 7200RPM) with 6TB, a device that will allow a transfer rate of 1330MB / s. A quite comfortable rack since it allows us to have easy access to its interior and therefore makes a periodic maintenance of power supplies, hard drives, and fans that make up the Lacie 8big Rack.

One of the most famous solutions is the LaCie 5big, which is updated compared to its previous version.
