Microsoft announces its Surface 7 in a video trying to make a fool of the MacBook Pro

Surface 7 VS MacBook Pro

We all know that MacBook Pro is the benchmark computer and more if possible after having launched the model with Apple Silicon processor. There are many other models on the market that want to get a portion of the profits that the Californian company achieves with its sales. Somewhat difficult, but not impossible. Advertising helps to position those products within the reach of users and Microsoft has not thought twice and launched a very tough campaign against the MacBook Pro and in favor of the Surface 7.

On the Microsoft Surface YouTube channel we found the video where in just 30 seconds, you want to ridicule the MacBook Pro, teaching, according to them, the shortcomings of the Apple computer compared to the benefits of the Surface 7.

The video begins by warning that they are going to compare the two models and we can see the boxes of both devices. The first thing we realize is that the MacBook Pro model is the one with the Intel processor. Not with the new Apple Silicon. With which we already start from a conditional comparison. Something that can be considered "normal" in the world of advertising but not that should not be ignored and logically Microsoft does not count it.

Second they begin comparing screens of both devices and how they mock the Surface touch screen and stylus with the MacBook Pro screen and how they laugh at the Touch Bar, which they say is almost useless when compared to the possibilities of writing and Touchscreen on the Surface 7. They continue with the design of the Surface aa that you can separate the keyboard from the screen turning the device into a Tablet.

They continue talking about power and responsiveness especially in video games. It is always known that Macbooks suffer from problems in this regard. But not for lack of power if not because they have not been designed for it. But it is not comparable, from my point of view, especially now with Apple Silicon. In the last place compare the prices and there I have nothing to say.
