Since Apple's streaming video service was officially launched on November 1 of last year, and as the company confirmed during the presentation of this new service, on Apple TV + we will find content of all kinds, not only series and movies, but also content for the little ones in the house as well as documentaries.
Apple has posted on the YouTube channel of Apple TV + the first trailer of what will be the animated film Wolfwalkers (from the same creators of Song of The Sea and The Secret of Kell) and to which they acquired the rights in 2018, a film whose release date is scheduled for 2021.
Wolfmakers puts us in the shoes of a young apprentice named Robyn in an adventure movie where travels with his father to Ireland to help raise a pack of wolves. Robyn discovers that a girl has the ability to transform into a wolf at night, making herself wonder if it is a good idea to continue with the mission she is carrying out with her father.
In the original version, Robyn will be voiced by actress Honor Kneafsey, Roby's (Bill) father. will be played by actor Sean Bean and the voice of the girl who turns into a wolf at night, Mebh, corresponds to Eva Whittaker. At the moment in the trailer Apple does not show us a specific launch date, however, in the Apple TV application it is shown as one of the launches corresponding to 2021.
Apple is likely to also release this animated film in theaters, as it will do with the movie On The Rocks, a film directed by Sofia Coppola and coming to the streaming video service the next October 23, two weeks after being released in theaters in order to be eligible for the Oscars of the Academy of Hollywood.
