Pairing problems appear between Apple Fitness + and Apple TV.

The new service of Apple Fitness + To keep us in shape and that it has been launched recently, we suppose that this Christmas we do not get so uphill with the polvorones, it begins to have the first problems. It really is not a problem of the service itself, but of pairing between devices. Apple Watch and Apple TV don't seem to get along as well as they should with this app. There is a way to solve it and we will tell you below.

One of the advantages of not being the first (in almost any aspect of life but especially in technology issues) is that the problems derived from the first versions are saved. I say this for the Apple Fitness + service that not yet available in Spain.

In countries where some users are working are reporting sync issues between Apple Watch and Apple TV. They report that they are receiving the following notice: "Pairing canceled" when trying to pair both devices to start Fitness classes.

You may see this error message if the Apple TV was not successfully added to the Home app. But there is no problem because the solution is provided by Apple itself and it is not difficult to complete its instructions:

  1. Open the Settings app on the Apple TV.
  2. Choose «AirPlay and HomeKit ».
  3. If you see "1" in a red badge next to "AirPlay and HomeKit", select "Finish startup configuration".
  4. Follow the steps on Apple TV to add the device to the Start app and finish setup.

If you don't see a red badge next to "AirPlay and HomeKit" or an option to add your media streamer to the Home app, you should get in touch with Apple Support. Apple is likely to provide a permanent fix for this bug through upcoming software updates. However, until then, you'll have to rely on this fix if you can't connect Apple Fitness + to your Apple TV.
