Sony "ironic" subtly with the future of the supposed iWatch of Apple

It seems that Sony is a bit on the defensive with Apple in relation to this product since it is one of the launches that is being discussed the most by the company for the next Mobile Asia Expo and in a somewhat ironic way we could say. Within the promotional campaign of its Xperia range, it reminds its users that they were the first to create a mass portable device with the Walkman.

But they also speak of their SmartWatch as the only portable and "wearable" device that has 200 operational applications from Google Play where it also they mention a survey in which one in three people want a watch-type device to be able to pair their smartphone.

Although the supposed watches of Apple, Samsung and Google have been on everyone's lips for the last months with more and more rumorsOnly Sony has marketed a product of these characteristics since 2007 and it was not until 2010 when they launched the Sony Ericsson LiveView, a device that was criticized by a large majority since it did not have a touch screen.

Last year the LiveView was replaced by the Xperia SmartWatch, a smart watch device that was able to pair with devices Android running the LiveView application and in turn can run other applications from the Google Play store.

So far everything normal if it were not for that through the Sony Twitter account they have been exaggerating the debut of the new generation of SmartWatch this week that comes with Tweets like "Tic-tac, tic-tac, tic-tac # # itstime MAE13", something that does not seem bad on the other hand, but that although it is true that until now They had not given it so much importance since Tim Cook said at the D11 that a device like this would be interesting for Apple and in this way Sony reminds us that their product is already on sale.

We will see if Apple decides to release a smart watch, where they should take into account that the more time passes, the less chance they will have of taking over the market since Sony, Peeble and many others are already in it.

Honestly, I will not be the one to suffer if Apple does not bring this "product" to the market. I haven't worn a watch for more than 10 years. What applications can there be for a Clock, different from those of a lifetime and that we do not have to leave our eyes to use them? The truth, while the market seems to tend towards Smartphones with larger screens, we are stuck in a mini-screen with a strap that are we really going to give it more uses than a Chinese watch? In the end, the greatest use that we would give to that theoretical iWatch will be that of «Look, I have an Apple Watch» and nothing else because when we have to charge it every day, while a normal watch this is not necessary, you will see how quickly we regret of such an "andromene."

By the way, if I had the direct email from Tim Cook and Johny Ive, I would send them one requesting that they forget about that iWatch, if they have it in mind, and focus on continuing to improve their current products and squeeze their neurons in Inventing new products that we do not yet know we really need.
