14 "and 16" MacBook Pros with Apple Silicon and M2 to Launch This Summer

New MacBook Pros for Summer 2021

A new rumor in sight. But not just any rumor. We talked about the possibility of Apple launching the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with Apple Silicon and M2 chip. That is, the redesigned Macbook Pro with 10 cores will be available this summer. That at least is what it says Mark Gurmann, the well-known Apple technology analyst who writes for Bloomberg among other outlets.

Apple plans to launch new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with improved M1 chip integration as early as this summer, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.. The new chip is said to include a CPU of 10 cores with eight high-performance cores and two low-power cores, with 16- or 32-core GPU options. Mark said the next-generation Apple Silicon chip will also support up to 64GB of memory compared to the current maximum of 16GB. This would be in line with the current 16-inch Intel-based MacBook Pro, which is available with up to 64GB of RAM. The new chip is also said to support additional Thunderbolt ports for expanded connectivity.

In previous reports, the Bloomberg specialist said that new MacBook Pro models will feature a redesigned chassis with the addition of more ports, including one HDMI, SD card slot (again) and a MagSafe magnetic charging cable (Also again).

They are not the only Mac models that Apple's would be working on. But of course these 14 and 16 inch models they are the most loved by the average user. They are the most versatile as well as powerful. Therefore one of the best purchases if you want a laptop, of course. We will wait until there are more elements that can confirm this rumor.
