Apple Stores will wear green for Earth Day

Every year Apple demonstrates its commitment to the environment, not only using renewable energy in most of its facilities and factories where its devices are assembled, but also wants to raise awareness of the use of this type of energy among citizens. One more year, and as Earth Day approaches, the employees of the Apple Stores They will change their blue shirt for a green one. But it will not be the only aesthetic change that the company's stores will offer around the world, but the logo of the same will be dyed green.

Next Sunday, April 22, Earth Day is celebrated, but two days before, Apple store employees will begin to use the green t-shirts. Also, from April 20, the apple leaf will change from white to green. Apple uses this day to highlight the efforts made by the company in this regard and reaffirm them by announcing its future projects in this regard. According to the latest data provided by Lisa Jackson, vice president of environment and social policy, 96% of the energy used by Apple worldwide comes from renewable sources.

Apple has demonstrated in recent years that its commitment to the environment is not temporary and as a result of that interest we can see how Greenpeace has declared the Cupertino-based company the most sustainable company on the planet. Fortunately, little by little, the rest of the companies with Microsoft, Google, Facebook and others are making the necessary changes to be able to depend more on renewable energies, leaving aside other more polluting energy sources, such as coal.
