Apple has been behind a new website for some time now, where you can manage your data as you please. And this one is already available.
Hereinafter it will be you, the user, who manages the data you want to share; modify some of them or cancel your Apple ID at the moment. That is to say, previously you could also access all this information, but perhaps taking a little more detour and requesting access at all times. Now the steps are simplified and you have the tools as shown below.
The options that you have from now on and with more simplified processes than previously are the following:
- Get a copy of your data: in this section you can request that they send you a copy of the application use data; documents, photos and videos in original format that you have stored in the cloud and the contacts, calendars, bookmarks and emails
- Correct your data: In this section you are redirected to the Apple ID website so that from there you can manage your data and edit it if necessary
- Deactivate your account (Apple ID): if you see it necessary, you can suspend or deactivate your Apple account temporarily without actually deleting it. Apple sends you an alphanumeric code that you must save to reactivate your account if you wish. You just have to contact Apple Technical Support
- Delete your account (Apple ID): there is no going back here; If you delete your account you will not be able to recover it at any time. You are warned that both subscriptions and data are lost forever
