Last April we informed you of the agreement that Apple had reached with the Spanish production company Bamboo Productions, producer of series such as Velvet, Great Hotel y Las chicas del cable. A month later, according to what they say from Deadline, Main cast of the bilingual series Now and Then has already been completed.
As expected, the main cast is made up of Hispanics and among whom we find Rosie Perez, Marina de Tavira, Jose María Yazpik, Maribel Verdú, Manolo Cardona, Soledad Vallamil and Zeljko Ivanek. The series is set in Miami and explores the differences between youthful aspirations and adult reality when a weekend college party ends with a deceased.
The series is set 20 years after the party and shows us 5 of the participants to the party who meet when they see their life threatened:
- Tavira Marina will play Ana, an intelligent and ambitious woman who parked her political career to support that of her husband (Pedro)
- Jose Maria Yazpik in the paper Pedro, a complex politician married to Ana, who feels entangled in a life that does not belong to him.
- Maribel verdu plays Sofia, a strong, self-made lawyer whose life took an unexpected turn 20 years ago and who now hides too many secrets.
- Manolo cardona plays Mark, a passionate surgeon who sacrificed his dreams for his family and friends.
- Soledad Villamil es Daniela, an introspective artist who constantly struggles to overcome a traumatic event from her past.
- Rosie perez es Flora, a talented detective obsessed with an unsolved case from 20 years ago.
- Zeljko Ivanek plays Sullivan, A seasoned detective who keeps his partner Flora from getting into too much trouble.
At the moment it is unknown when will the filming begin, so we do not know what the release date could be on Apple TV +.
