The first beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and tvOS 13.4.5 is now available

Catherine beta

On March 24, Apple released the final version of macOS 10.15.4, an update that finally added the possibility of share iCloud folders with other users, enjoy the lyrics in Apple Music songs, the Screen Time feature and more. A week later, Apple has just launched the first beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.5

This first beta is limited to macOS app developers, so if you want to install it but you are not a developer, you will have to wait a few days until Apple releases the version for the public beta user community. The same is the case with the first beta of tvOS 13.4.5, beta that just launched.

tvOS 13.4.5, also arrives one week after the release of the final version of tvOS 13.4, a new version that hardly introduced any new features, so we can't expect much from this new version of tvOS either. We do not know the reason why Apple has not decided to launch version number 13.4.1, which would be the one that really corresponds if it wants to maintain the numbering scheme that it has been using in recent years.

At the moment, we do not know the news that are available both within macOS 10.15.5 and within tvOS 13.4.5, but most likely, if the latest rumors are confirmed, it is that Apple do not plan to introduce anything new in these new versions since it is in a very advanced development of the next versions of the operating systems that both Mac and Apple TV will manage.

These new versions, will be presented online At the beginning of June, at WWDC, a WWDC that, as the company announced a few weeks ago, would be online, since the face-to-face event was suspended due to the coronavirus.
