The new box with wireless charging of the AirPods available in December for 79 euros

Days before the keynote of September 12 in which Apple presented the new generation of the iPhone with which the company celebrates its tenth anniversary, we echoed a news related to the possibility that the company will launch a second generation of AirPods. Throughout the keynote we could see that renewal, which not only consists of placing the charging led on the outside of the box that we use to charge, but it also integrates a wireless charging system that allows us to charge the device with a base Charging compatible with the Qi standard. Nothing else was known about the arrival of this second generation, even from Switzerland it is stated that the cargo box can be purchased independently for 79 euros.

Currently, if we have the misfortune of losing the charging base or suffering some mishap that forces us to buy a new one, we can go to the Apple Store and pay the 79 euros it costs, so it makes sense that if some other user wants to get the new wireless box, they have to pay the same as in any other case. Of course, we will have to see the availability of boxes, to see if the problem of the boxes and the AirPods is going to be the same.
