This is how Mac OS X has evolved in the last 19 years in video

Apple has evolved a lot as a company since it launched Mac OS X in March 2001. No one could imagine at the time how far the company would go in the world of technology. Throughout these 19 years, Apple has released all kinds of updatesboth good and bad, coming to Big Sur with a completely different approach.

Martin Nobel, has shared a video on YouTube, a 5 minute timelapse in which shows us the installation process from OS X 10.0 and that allows us to see how some applications have been disappearing and have been forgotten as well as the arrival of new ones.

This video allows us to see how Apple has evolved the design of OS X in recent years, a design that little by little has progressed to become practically a clone, saving the distance from the operating system that we have at our disposal on the iPad, but with greater versatility, since, for now, we can continue installing applications from outside of the Mac App Store.

The macOS Big Sur announcement at WWDC 2020, has spelled the end of the MacOS X era that began in 2001. This new era that is presented, will be a litmus test for Apple, since from now on it will reduce its dependence on Intel processors to bet on its own, processors with ARM architecture that offer lower consumption and a practically equivalent power.

The time, rather the users, will say if Apple has taken a risk when considering this change, since it not only depends on Apple, but also on developers, and when I talk about developers I mean Adobe, Microsoft ... applications that are used professionally on the Mac and that can be a problem if development is not taken seriously of your applications for ARM processors.
