Tim Cook talks about his life and Apple in general in an American late show

Late Show Colbert- tim cook-0

After his appearance yesterday at the Fifth Avenue Apple Store in New York, Tim Cook interviewed Stephen Colbert, to chat for a while about the new iPhone, 3D Touch technology, Siri ... and the life in general that the CEO of Apple leads in the company.

On the other hand, and as is to be expected in this type of program, there were more "complicated" questions than others, since the presenter made mention of the news about the rights of workers and how Apple should apply its control policies to stop labor exploitation or the confirmation of their sexuality as gay in October where the CEO of Apple, claimed to be proud to be. Questions that Tim Cook had to face and that in fact, made him very convinced of what he said.

On the other hand, there was also talk of Apple as a company and its objectives. Some of the main ones according to Cook, would be in education, the environment and human rights, in how this applies to the rights of workers, which is always a subject of debate with activists of said human rights. Tim Cook noted that Apple carry out a class program as an incentive for supply chain employees to go to college and thus grow and advance their careers.

Mention was also made of the new iPhone (the presenter wore an iPhone 6s in rose gold) and the technology of 3D Touch pressure, the new features of Siri and a bit in general of the progress that the device has had.

There was also brief discussion about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who Cook said was a "pleasure to work with," always demanding the best of his employees. In the words of the CEO of Apple:

I miss him every day […] I think a lot of people are trying to be opportunistic and I don't like this, this attitude is not something that I like nowadays.

For Cook, this is the first public appearance of the two that are scheduled for September as he will also attend the Boxworks cloud storage conference on September 28 in addition to the live conference of "The Wall Street Journal" in October.
