Apple has announced officially WWDC of the year 2021 with the motto "Glow and Behold". This year, the conference will run from June 7 to June 11. At WWDC 2021, Apple is likely to unveil the future of its software platforms, including iOS 15, macOS 12, watchOS 8, and more. It will be the second year in a row that Apple will host a virtual global developers conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the second year in a row, Apple will hold the WWDC virtually and has already set a date for it. Will be next 7 for June. Last year, the virtual WWDC was widely praised for helping to make the conference more inclusive for all, especially given the cost typically associated with traveling to San Jose, California for the conference. Tim Cook promoted that WWDC 2020 attracted 22 million viewers on all Apple broadcasts. He was able to gather 72 hours of developer video content and maintain 4.500 person-to-person labs.
