Good good good. Without keynote and without warning, Apple has already released new devices today. The coronavirus pandemic has turned the whole world and all sectors upside down, and Apple was not going to be less.
With its stores closed around the world except in China, today it has launched a few new devices. One of them is the new range of Mac mini. Let's see what news it brings.
At first glance, the novelties are internal, maintaining the same outer casing. As for its components, yes there are new processors, new chips RAM y more storage. Let's go by parts.
New processors
The new range of eighth-generation processors that we can choose from when configuring the new Mac mini are the following: Intel Core i3 quad-core 3,6GHz and Intel Core i5 six-core at 3GHz. With these new CPUs Apple ensures that the performance has been doubled compared to the previous generation.
New RAM
Now the RAM is faster than the previous one, with chips DDR4 at 2.666 MHz. With a base memory of 8 GB, you can choose a Mac mini with up to 64 GB of RAM.
More storage
Now the Mac mini in its most basic configuration comes with 256 GB of SSD storage, with a price of 929 Euros. You can choose a capacity of 512GB SSD, for 350 Euros more.
The new Mac mini are already available on Apple's website, with delivery dates starting next week. Obviously, they cannot be collected in the store because they are closed. At the moment you can only buy it online. Well, if the delivery guys work, I have my doubts.
